Musings

Firstly, let the record show that this blog cannot stand Skip Bayless. He decides whether he likes a player or not, then praises that guy endlessly or rips him forever, regardless. Nine times out of ten, he can't stand new school and constantly favors the old school. Grawr.

Anyway, Bayless is convinced that the Texans should take Vince Young. I think this is a mistake because I don't buy his throwing motion. He's a great athelete, but that little wrist flip he does isn't going to cut it in the NFL.

All four home teams win this weekend.

The most successful QB from the 2006 draft will be Marcus Vick, if he can get his act together. He's slippery like his brother, but a much better passer.

The instant Palmer got hit, I knew that there was ?CL damage. That both got fried is really a shame. He had a breakout season, and hopefully he can recover to be a top QB in the league.

Did Chad Johnson really have a run-in with the coaching staff at halftime? His schtick has always been the outrageous media comments, but I always got the impression he was always a team player. Maybe not...

I don't see New Mexico even getting drafted, frankly. Not after the shit he pulled on Elvis Dumervil and in the McDonalds- teams will take chances on "problem children", but we ain't never seen a bigger problem than Marcus, and everyone knows it. Besides, running QBs don't work in the NFL- there's too much of a risk of injury, and their "athleticism" edge just isn't as large, giving them a smaller upside. Note the continued suckage of his bigger brother.

Well, maybe the Lions will take him. But that's because Millen's an idiot.
